Foodintech is an innovative solution developed from a public-private research project based in Dijon Métropole, aimed at optimizing food monitoring in hospitals and nursing homes. Using artificial intelligence and deep learning, it automates the recording of ingesta and enables real-time menu adjustments to combat malnutrition and food waste. Developed with the expertise of CHU Dijon Bourgogne, Yumain, and AtolCD, Foodintech is already being tested by several healthcare institutions, including CHU Dijon and CHU Nice, as well as the Partage & Vie Foundation. Supported by regional and European funding, it leverages cutting-edge technologies to provide a precise and intuitive analysis of patients’ and residents’ meals.
