Nutrition Guide for Senior care providers
It’s not always easy to maintain the pleasure of eating and being active when ageing and health problems affect eating habits and physical fitness. However, helping a very old or frail person to maintain the quality of their diet and engage in physical activity is very important in terms of quality of life. This guide is aimed at those close to the person – spouse, child, family member, friend – as well as professional caregivers. It provides a wealth of information, advice and tips on how to support the elderly person on a day-to-day basis. It is part of the French National Nutrition and Health Program (PNNS).
