The healthy eating pyramid

The food pyramid is a representation of the optimal number of servings to be eaten each day from each of the basic food groups. It is a recognised nutrition tool shaped like a pyramid to suggest that a person should eat more foods from the bottom of the pyramid and fewer foods and beverages from the top of the pyramid.
